Fresh facts have emerged on how rising Nigerian singer, Zainab Alizee, and her three-year-old daughter, Petra, were murdered allegedly by her Danish husband, Peter Nielsen, at their Banana Island residence, Ikoyi, Lagos, on Thursday. Effiong Asuquo, a chief superintendent of police, told a Yaba Chief Magistrates’ Court, Lagos on Wednesday that the accused hit his wife’s head on the wall several times leading to her death and then proceeded to poison his daughter. Mr. Asuquo, a prosecutor, alleged that the accused killed Zainab and her daughter in the house. EFCC Arrests Four For Internet Fraud The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Lagos Zonal office, on Saturday, April 7, 2018, arrested four suspected Internet fraudsters. The suspects are: Ale Daniel, Tunde Badmus, Adams Tunde Adedeji and Ajiboye Gbenga. The quartet who were arrested in the Lekki area of Lagos State for various offences bordering on cyber crimes and money laundering; their arrest followed intelligence report received by the Commission about their activities alleging that they living flamboyantly without known sources of income. A Divisional Police Officer (DPO) in charge of Rumuolumeni Police Division in Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers state has been reportedly killed by unknown gunmen. Identified as Kingsley Chukwueggu, he was shot dead by the gunmen, who were in police uniform in the late hours of Sunday, 8th April while he was in a private vehicle returning to Port Harcourt along Awaza community road in Abia state. It was gathered that the police officer had travelled to see his aged mother in his village in Aboh Mbaise Local Government Area of Imo State.
